About Me

Lindsay Solmer is Model, Actor, Digital Creator & Entrepreneur.

She grew up in the cities of Kelowna and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, and at the age of seventeen moved to NYC.

From a young age, Lindsay had a passion for the arts, as she had a successful dance career by the age of 12. She danced with The National Ballet, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Moscow Ballet, and Alberta Ballet.  Her experience on stage sparked her interest in acting and her dream was to attend acting school after she graduated. 

In 2012 she packed her bags and began her journey at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. Lindsay graduated from the AADA conservatory in April 2014, and in 2018 completed her BA at Hunter College as a theater major.  At Hunter College she was awarded the Vera Mowry Roberts Award For Excellence in Theatre History. 

After graduating, Lindsay has starred in student films and Short films like Medium Rare by Dina Graham, which recently won Cannes Screenplay Contest in 2019. She has also traveled west coast to film a Hulu Commercial for an app called Videoshop, and recently did her first Voiceover job for the app!  

Lindsay always had a love for fashion, modeling & photography. Living in NYC opened her eyes to the world of content creation. In 2017 she decided to expand her brand and created her own fashion blog and from there she built her social media following (@lindsaysolmer).  Lindsay started to flourish in the modeling & digital creation industry and has worked with big brands such as Revolve, Moroccan Oil, Kohl's, Nine West, Cynthia Rowley, Il Makiage and was an Amazon Live Creator, where she produced her own live shows.

Most recently Lindsay has gained notoriety for her “Insta Tips” on Tik Tok and Instagram reels where she went viral with over 12 Million views and grew her following by sharing tips on how to create an aesthetic social media presence. 

Lindsay moved back home to Vancouver Island in British Columbia in 2021 to launch her own social media management agency called SOLMER SOCIAL and since then has worked with clients from the reality TV space, New York fashion brands and many more.

Missing the big city lifestyle, Lindsay has recently moved across the pond and is now calling London UK her home. She is looking forward to building her business here and the opportunities and adventures to come while on this new exciting chapter.
